Crypto Venture Funding Rebounds: Surges to $5.11B in October
Venture capital inflows into the cryptocurrency sector surged to $5.11 billion in October, marking the second-highest monthly total since 2022. The rebound signals renewed institutional confidence after a summer slowdown, with funding levels approaching March 2025's peak of $5.79 billion.
U.S.-based projects dominated deal flow, securing $2.26 billion in disclosed funding rounds. International initiatives contributed an additional $1.63 billion through undisclosed transactions. Late-stage investments outpaced early-stage bets as investors favored mature projects over experimental platforms.
Coinbase Ventures emerged as the most active participant, closing 127 funding rounds. Artificial intelligence-focused blockchain projects captured nearly one-third of total investment, while NFT and gaming ventures continued their downward trajectory in funding share.
